I ordered this beautiful flying owl, and unfortunately seller sent it to wrong address. Fed ex contacted me, and took seller a bit to reach out to fed ex to correct the address. Once arrived it had a few damages spots luckily on the back of the item. The seller was nice enough to allow refund which I did kit accept, but unfortunately they stated it was damaged in transit. The package was not damaged when I finally recipe it (but did want to give the seller the opportunity to own the damaged spots, and make things right before I posted a review).
Owls are my spirit animal! This one truly makes me smile!
I really like this piece overall, but there are a few issues.
First, there’s a chip in the black coating and you can see bare metal underneath. It’s not huge and it wasn’t worth making a big deal about, but I’d be remiss not to mention it.
Second, the packing was not very robust and a few pieces of the metal were bent and poking out of the box. Luckily nothing was broken and I was able to bend everything back in shape.
The piece is nice and heavy, and looks great on my wall. I hope the seller takes a little more care with future shipments.
